An opportunity to hear both Pastor Weaver and Ray McBerry speak in one is worth a trip is possible. This doesn't happen very often.

The East Georgia LOS Chapter will be holding it’s first Hedge School on November 9th & 10th  at Pastor John Weaver’s farm near Fitzgerald, Georgia.

We will begin on Friday evening at 6:30PM with three 45 minute lectures ending at 9:30PM.

We will begin again at 9:00AM on Saturday.  Four more 45 minute lectures will be offered.  We will break dinner bread together and end the school around 2:30PM.

Topics that will be covered are: 

Pastor John Weaver: The World and Times of Jesse James

Ray McBerry: General Benning, States Rights advocate & The men that formed the Confederate Constitution

By a Surprise speaker: John C. Calhoun & Patrick Henry . 

We will have plenty of good fellowship and fun.

We only have room for 50 attendees.  Please get registered as soon as possible. The fee is $20 which includes Saturday Dinner.  Students are $15. Information packages can be emailed or sent out by regular mail.

Jeff Davis state park, a 15 minute drive from Pastor Weaver’s farm has a living history program running on Saturday and Sunday.  Pastor Weaver will be preaching at the park on Sunday at 10:00am.  We are holding our function to coincide with the functions at Jeff Davis park so that Hedge School attendees have something else to do while in the area.
