No one is ever defeated as long as he is breathing unless he allows himself to be defeated.  The facts stand as they are.  The deeds of Abraham Lincoln, the abolitionists, the radical Republicans, William Seward, the “legitimate” courts that convicted Mary Surratt, Captain Wirz, and Dr. Samuel Mudd, are all documented.  But, guess what.  This information is ignored by the “scholars”.  In his review of Doris Kearns-Goodwin’s latest,  Team of Rivals, Thomas DiLorenzo says “she has apparently not been filled in on the standard modus operandi of cover-up and obfuscation that is the hallmark of ‘Lincoln scholarship’.”

In his book The Coming of the Glory copyrighted in 1949, John S. Tilley said about the so-called Emancipation Proclamation:  “Not a response to the cry of humanity for the unshackling of the slave, not a great and glorious sacrifice preparatory to the vision of a divine manifestation: anything but that.  Read again, ‘ a fit and necessary war measure for suppressing said rebellion’ ( quote taken from the document itself).  The quoted text supplies all the testimony needed to demonstrate that suppression of ‘rebellion’ was the end, the confiscation of slave-property only a means.”  This statement from the man, Lincoln, who was the prime mover of the “first thirteenth amendment”, often called “the slavery forever amendment”, who was more than willing to have “legally enshrined  slavery in the U.S. Constitution” according to Thomas DiLorenzo.

If you attend the Stephen Dill Lee Institute, you can hear Thomas DiLorenzo, Dr. Clyde Wilson, Dr. Donald Livingston, Dr. Marshall DeRosa, and Brian Cisco propound the truth and you can gain knowledge. What a deal !

I am asking for help from all Brigade Commanders.  Please see that all Camp Commanders and Adjutants in your Brigade get a copy of the application for the coming Stephen Dill Lee Institute ( download ) and know about the Institute to be held on October 20-21, 2006 at Macon State College in Macon, Georgia.  We need at least 100 scholars in training to attend.  The Georgia Division always leads the way.  Show your continued support of the SCV by having at least two members from each Camp attend.
