 Born on May 10, 1846. Died March 14, 1921.

Great, Great Grand father of Proud Southerner, Jason Hargroder.

William Hargroder, Captain, 7th Louisiana Cavalry, Company B.

 Born on December 21 , 1827. Died August 22, 1913.

First Cousin, five times removed of  Proud Southerner, Jason Hargroder.

2nd Lt William A. Wilson, Co. F, 27th Regiment NC Troops (INF), Perquimans County, NC

 William A. Wilson enlisted 16 May 1861 as a corporal in the "Perquimans Beauregards" in Perquimans County, NC. This company became Co. F, 27th NC Regt NC Troops (Inf). In September, 1864 he was elected 2Lt of his company and commanded it until he was paroled at Greensboro, NC 1 May 1865.

Proud Southern eCard Private Henry Houston Walker, Company C, 14th Georgia Light Artillery.
 
Henry Houston Walker was a private in 14th Ga. Light Artillery, Company "C", Ferrell's Battery.  He joined when the company was formed in Troup Co., Ga. in 1862 for the duration of the war.  Henry H. Walker was born in 1836 and died in Oct. 1888.
